Fiji has a mild and mostly stable tropical climate throughout the year,with mild average temperatures of around 25 degrees, however in summer this can climb to around 30 degrees, and winter drop to between 18-20 degrees at night.
Swimming is possible all year round, with sea temperatures between 25-28 degrees
Getting There
By air, the national carrier is Air Pacific, flying direct to Nadi and Suva from Sydney, and Nadi from Melbourne and Brisbane.
Pacific Blue Airlines have direct flights from Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne to Nadi.
The flying times from Sydney to Nadi is approximately 3hrs 30mins; Sydney to Suva is approximately 4hrs 10mins.
